Old Channel Inn -- 100 years of innkeeping. In the early 1900's on the site of the current inn, the Lloyd family built a one story restaurant with an open-air porch at the south end. Owners since 1989, Cheryl and Kirk Davidson, say one customer painted a picture of the Inn when on vcation around World War I. When lumber was booming, sawmills were built in the area of the "Mouth." or "Stump Village" In 1871, the channel was diverted to its present location, thus the "Mouth" lost its commercial status. Available at The Corner House of Gifts.
