The "Howmet Theater" was purchased in 1973, and was under the direction of The Blue Lake Area Fine Art Camp for many years as home to many, many theatre presentations each summer. The "Howmet Theater" also was home to a Children's Theatre and many school presentations. New owners of the Theater - The City of Whitehall. They will continue to use the Theater for community functions, including plays, Festivals, and meetings. The "Howmet Playhouse" was built in 1916 and the 400 seat theater has once been renovated.
