Brent Freed Driftwood Art   Brent Freed, of Indian River Woodshop, is inspired by nature’s ebb and flow to create beauty. Using Red and White Cedar driftwood, Brent carves and shapes what his eye sees in the wood, sometimes a flying, soaring duck, sometimes a fish gracefully swimming. Brent is native to Northern Michigan and after a time away decided to return, settling in Indian River. Brent calls his art “Freed Formed Art” for a fun play on his name and his ability to form wildlife from driftwood. No two pieces are alike and are sure to be conversation starters along with striking decor.
