David Winter Cottages
Since 1979, Sculptor David Winter has meticulously sculpted cottages and castles that have been admired and collected all over the world; he is celebrating his twenty-fifth year of production.
David's cottage miniatures have been distributed through Royal Selangor, John Hine Pty Ltd and Enesco. David Winter Cottages are still in production today through a joint venture with Martin Perry and Kevin Pearson; the Friends of David Winter Guild and Kevin Francis USA.
David's 2004 releases include three cottages that continue to build upon the Canal Street theme. It is an imaginary town in early Victorian England when the canal life thrived and people living on the waterways prospered. Other releases include a Haunted House with a graveyard theme and the Snow Witch Castle.
David Winter's Christmas Cottages are based on the works and/or characters of Charles Dickens novels. The first Christmas Cottage produced for the Friends of David Winter year 2003 was Scrooges Castle. This piece is now retired. The 2004 Christmas Cottage is based on Mr. Pickwick. It was Pickwick's Papers that first brought Dickens to the attention of the public.
The Corner House of Gifts carries many retired pieces, however we cannot guarantee that we have any item in stock! Shop below to see what we currently have available.
